Descripción
Our Guayusa Leaves come from a holly plant that grows in the Ecuadorian Amazon. They are a deep green color with slightly brown edges. Their aroma is earthy and mildly herbaceous. When you taste them, you'll notice a bitter and slightly astringent flavor with a hint of herbs and spices. Their texture is rough and slightly coarse, ideal for preparing infusions, yerba mate, tinctures, or capsules. This plant is very popular as a stimulant, thanks to its caffeine content. Unlike coffee, it doesn't cause the adverse effects that caffeinated products often produce; it also provides numerous vitamins and minerals, not to mention its antioxidant effect on the body.
