Our Reishi Extract or Ganoderma powder is obtained from the mushroom Ganoderma lucidum. This fungus grows on rotting tree trunks in temperate forests of East Asia. Its traditional collection is manual in the wild, which makes it a relatively expensive product. Currently, it is artificially grown on tree trunks or wooden substrates, making it sustainable and accessible. Our extract comes as a fine reddish-brown or dark brown powder, with a slightly bitter taste and a woody aroma.
